My Grandfather Don Evans served with Joe on the B-29. Just spend the day with my Grandma and love hearing about your service to the country. God Bless you and thank you.

I want to let the family know my thoughts are with them- having grown up with Lisa , our dad's met often at many functions and my dad always loved the "How are you ?" I'm Fair" exchange and never tired of it-
he is a great part of my life and will be missed- Peace to you all !

I have fond memories of Joe. Hugging you Annie from Seattle. Love you! Brenda Reynolds (Virgil and Sharon Griepp's Daughter)

You will always be missed great uncle Bill as I known you all my life. You are finally with all of your 8 sisters my grandma Verda included and 1 brother and both of your parents and the rest of your family.
It was painful for you to attend your parents funerals and all your siblings funerals when they all passed away and you were the last one standing.
I will always remember when asked how you were you would always say I'm Fair.
I will always love and miss you great uncle...

Uncle Bill it was always a great pleasure when you brought the family to Broken Bow in the summer to visit. You and Aunt Marianna raised a great family. Thank you for so proudly serving our country. This week I can only say sad when asked how I am, however in the the future in your honor, and memory I shall say I'm fair. My prayers to your famliy rest in peace Uncle Bill you are missed.
