I met Dr Fennelly when I was nurse unit manager at MKD Rehab Center. He would come by often to have end of life discussions and other topics. He always listened intensely grabbing on every idea I expressed. When I changed jobs to teaching at St Elizabeth University, he would drop by office to talk. We presented a poster together for the NJ Thoracic Society on Communications surrounding end of life patients who were inpatient. I also participated as a group leader inseveral of the Honor Thy...

To Deborah and Family. My sincere condolences to you and the family. I am blessed to have shared a moment in prayer with him on Sunday, October 9, 2022. God, in His infinite wisdom sent me to meet you both and pray. Your dad, from what you shared with me, truly was a giver. His profession spoke volumes to many. May your precious memories of him, your time together, the legacy he leaves to you all, shower you always. God bless you and the family. Rev. Vanessa L. Perry Pastor of Bethel AME...

As a nurse in his office I saw first hand Dr Fennelly´s kind manner & genuine care for each & every one of his patients. While making significant contributions to the medical profession & to the many other important causes he supported, he maintained a delightful sense of humor. He was truly a man for others. May he now be enjoying the eternal reward he so richly deserves.

We started as patients of Dr. Fennelly shortly after he set up his practice in Madison. In the intervening years, his kind care of my Mom and my Aunt Millie were wonderful, but more important was the friendship of the entire Fennelly family toward them. One of her joys was whipping up pasta or cookies for an event for "Doc," and when my Mom passed, my wife and I had the support of Doc and his family to send my Mom onward. He accomplished many things in his professional life, but he was most...

Doc Fennelly was an extraordinary physician and the most compassionate human I have ever known. His legacy to medicine and his family and friends is monumental and he will be sorely missed by all who knew him. They just don´t make them like him anymore. His practice always put the patient and the family first and it was the same in his personal life. His beloved family came first. It was an honor to know him.
