Not sure what to say?

I realized after I signed the condolence book in 2021; that I worked with Joe at Carousel Ice cream shop! And then 30 some years later at Bronson. Never knew he was one and the same! Miss him as he was definitely one of the good guys!

Joe and I worked many a shift together in the float pool at Bronson Methodist Hospital. The man had mad knowledge on everything under the sun literally. Joe was an onion, peeling away layers of facts and funny stories to help long Twelve hour days go by without going mad. Thanks Joe for being you. Molly Wagner

Joe was a great Nurse and a good person to all! He was super funny to work with and made work more enjoyable! I remember that he purchased pizza for the whole hospital staff!! For his retirement he delivered pizza to every unit himself to say "goodbye"! What a wonderful guy! Our hearts may be sad that he has gone but our hearts should also be happy to have known him.

I was very sad to read about Joe's passing. He was such a very nice guy. I met him at the Bronson Athletic Club in a couple of my classes. He was always such an energetic man whom I really looked up to. His fun energy encouraged me to work harder in class. After class a couple of us would walk around the track together sharing family stories. He frequently spoke of his large family. He most often talked about his grandchildren and how he and his wife would babysit. He was so proud of...

The Wrench Family

Truly saddened to hear of Joe’s passing. I too was a Bronson employee and was a member of the Bronson Athletic Club. I was an active member of Kathy Bowman’s aerobic class and there were only a hand full of males in the class including Joe and me and George. We never minded being in the minority! Joe always was full of energy and needed the whole rear of the studio to perform in class. I always enjoyed his presence and he kept me motivated. A real class act. RIP Joe!

Dear Ferrara Family, I just received the sad notice of Joe's passing and wish to convey my deep condolences. I was a fitness instructor at the Bronson Athletic Club for 15 years and Joe was a stand out member of the class!!!!! He jumped higher than anyone half his age and was an enthusiastic soul!He almost always attended our Christmas lunch even though it was almost all ladies. I recently viewed a video of the class from 2006 and Joe is right there having a great time! He will always be in...

It was always a pleasure to see Joe’s smiling face as the nurse to relieve me in TCU. No matter the workload, Joe accepted it as a job to accomplish over the next 12 hours giving his patients his attention and kind caring. Love the quote from him at the end of the obit.....sounded like him through and through! Condolences to the family....he was a great person!

I am saddened to see that Joe has passed away. My thoughts and prayers are with Joe's famiily I went to nursing school with Joe and periodically had the pleasure of working with him at Bronson. May you find comfort in the wonderful memories you shared. I know Joe is soaring with the angels. Until we meet again....
