Joseph E. Feurtado - A life-long resident of Mobile, AL., passed suddenly on Thursday, June 8, 2017. He was preceded in death by his parents, Percy Sr. and Esther Feurtado and one son, Manuel Feurtado. Joseph graduated from Central High School in 1967 and was a Veteran of the United States Army where he served faithfully. He is survived by a devoted wife, Donna Feurtado. eight children, Joseph (Kimberly) Feurtado, Sylvia Feurtado, Ashley Parker, Daniel and Jeffrey Feurtado, all of Mobile, AL., Derrick Feurtado of Atlanta, GA., Kendra Myricks of Columbus, GA., Temekia McKenzie-Franklin(James) of South Carolina; two sisters, Marie (Ronald) Reece, and Cloteal (Albert) Odom; one brother, Percy (Theresa) Feurtado; four uncles, Cleveland Williams, Lindsey(Joycelyn) Parker of Columbus, OH., Charlie Parker of Buffalo New York, and Herbert Parker of Mobile, AL.; two aunts, Jacqueline Parker and Connie Parker, Mobile, AL.; three Godchildren, Michael, Christopher, and Chanel Cunningham; two sisters-in-law, Doris (Johnny) Lash, and Linda (AL) Sashington; three brothers-in-law, Brian Parker, Vincent Parker, and Derrick (Debra) Parker all of Mobile, AL. 21 grandchildren; 7 great- grandchildren; two devoted cousins, Seletha Curtis and Edna Smith of St. Louis, Missouri; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Visitation will be held at Union Missionary Baptist Church, 506 Bay Bridge Road, Mobile, AL on Saturday, June 17, 2017 from 12 noon until the 2:00 pm Funeral Hour. Interment will follow in Gethsemane Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to Reese Funeral Home 925 Bessemer Ave. Prichard, AL 36610.
