Not sure what to say?

My heartfelt sympathy to Joe's family and oh so many friends! He was more popular than any south philly politician!!! and did so much for south Philly kids athletics. I lived across the street from him for awhile, he was a good friend and neighbor. He will remain a legend!

Joe was a good friend as a classmate at SECHS. '47 and I certainly enjoyed his company at our frequent class of '47 re-unions. My prayers are with him and his family and fiends, along with my heartfelt sympathy and condolences !

Joe was a special person. He loved sports and was a was a great competitor. Sorry that I can't make the funeral but my thoughts are with him. Tom D.

I never knew a man with so much energy and excitment and it rubbed off on all of us who played. I was fortunate to have stayed in the neighborhood and played basketball in 35 and over leagues in Philly and lo and behold there in the stands would be Joe Fieger still checking out the old boys from the neighborhood. I commented to a co-worker the other day that the South...

May the love of friends and family carry you through your grief.
