Not sure what to say?

This information has hit me hard to the core, I was a little league teammate of Joe’s in the early eighties. We hit off almost immediately, I was a catcher who caught Joe, but for whatever reason he hated pitching, so we switched and he fell in love with it... I lived my summers @ my grandparents beach house on M st, and still have family there. I pray that the Finn family has found the strength somehow to carry on... RIP MY
(police) teammate, and I’ll see ya on the other side...

My condolences to all of Joe's family & friends . I was very saddened to hear of Joe's passing, he was a teriffic guy! I've known Joe since 5th grade and he always had a great personality. I echo other comments written by my friend's here, Tom Mcdonough, Ed Mitchell and Neil Reilly . I'm sure Joe was as loved in Fla. as he was in his hometown of Hull . "Screaming" Joe as he was nicknamed from many of his trips to the Boston Garden or Fenway park will be missed by everybody who came to know him .

Pat, I am so sorry for your loss. Our thoughts are with you and your family.
Sincerely,
Your friend,
Peter

I'm saddened to hear about the passing of Joe. Although I wasn't a close friend of Joe's I have many memories of what a class guy Joe was. I recall the one time I had moved to Ft. Myers for a year and didn't know anyone in the area. I was at a Red Sox spring training game and ran into Joe out of the blue. I remember Joe calling out to me and looking up and seeing this big smile on his face. It was like I was one of closest friends that he hadn't seen in years. That's the way I remember Joe.

Dear Noble & Family,
My thoughts are with you all. I never really knew your younger brother but I remember him as a hockey player and a handsome boy- who uses that word anymore!

I was happy to read that you're married. You are a great guy just as your brothers are from reading these entries. I do receive the Hull Times and I'm impressed with your brother Pat's activism in local politics.

My deepest sympathy to you and your family. I remember fondly commuting with your mother...

Dear Mrs. Finn, Maureen, Noble, and Pat,

I am so very sad to hear about Joe. I know that everyone who knew Joe growing up in The Village would echo Tom McDonough's sentiments; his smile was infectious and Joe was a good friend to those of us who grew up with him. He will always be in our thoughts.

Some of my happiest memories are of those pick-up games we had in the flooded field behind the firehouse. Joe was truly in his element when he had a pair of skates on and I always knew...

Dear Franny, Pat, Noble, and Family:

Mere words cannot adequately express my profound condolences to
you and your entire family on Joe's
passing.
May his memory be for a great and good blessing for all of you, and
may you know only happiness, not
sorrows, for many years to come.
With heartfelt sympathy and
understanding,

Marty Silverman
