My memory of the late Mayor Thomas Flatley is that he was one of the kindest,helpful,lovable men I ever met.Joe,as a pillar in one of Erie's premier families,had the same warmth and goodness.He served the community well as an employee of the Erie School District.Guiding his family during the times that he did,to become the caring helpful people that they are is a wonderful story.To him it was probably taken for granted.That spirit lives on in his surviving relatives and friends.That is a...
