Surrounded by and in the loving care of his family, Joseph passed peacefully at home in Gloucester City on February 4, 2026, at the age of 93. Loving and devoted husband of 57 years to the late Genevieve “Jenny” Flinn (nee Scheurich).  Loving father of Joseph Jr., John (Terry), James (Meredith), Jeffrey (Tracey) and Joy (Gary). Predeceased by his siblings, James Flinn, Francis Flinn, Mary Flinn Parker and Raymond Flinn (surviving Bernadette).

Joseph was born at home in Gloucester City to the late James and Lillian Flinn (nee Hewitt). He proudly served our country in the U.S.M.C. during the Korean War. Joe worked 20+ years as a machine mechanic at the Philadelphia Navy Yard.  He enjoyed crabbing, camping with the Koenigs, working on cars and his family will remember him fondly for the countless trips to the Drive-In Movies.
