Dear Mrs. Flory and Family,

I was shocked to hear about the sudden and unexpected passing of Joe. I have know him for 14 years in my capacity as an Admissions Counselor at Clarkson and the last 10 years at St. Lawrence University. I am at lose for words on what Joe meant as a professional counselor, mentor and friend. I will always remember Joe for his sense of humor, dedication to his kids and the counseling profession and friendship. The Office of Admissions and my wife Sue and I...

Dear Mrs. Flory and Family,
My daughter Libby (a senior at RHS) and I were deeply saddened to learn of Joe's sudden passing. Dear Peg Flory and Family:

I just found out today about Joe's death. I am so sorry for your loss. I consider myself blessed to have had the opportunity to work with Joe at Rutland High School. He typified a 'gentle man'. His compassion was effortless and unbounded and his sense of humor was 'wicked'.

God bless you and your family.

We are all a little poorer today, and heaven a little richer.

Dear Peg Flory and Family,
It was a privilege to have watched the magical relationships that Joe created with his students. He continuously went above and beyond and inspired me to do the same. I will miss him everyday and strive to impact students lives in his shadow.

Dear Peg, I was deeply saddend to hear of Joe's passing. It was always fun bumping into him at Kamuds's or the "dump". You never knew what the subject was going to be but he was always ready to talk! My heart, prayers and love go out to you and your family
