Please accept my heartfelt sorrow, upon hearing of Joe's passing. It brought, to mind, many fond memories, of our youth. In particular, walking down to the Air Force recruiting office during a stormy Christmas day, in our senior year of high school. Two 18 year olds, ready to join up. We trained together at Sampson AFB during the winter, but parted to separate bases.
