Not sure what to say?

I attended high school at Osbourn and i was a fast runner, while he was there way back in the sixties. I never played any sports , but i remember he came and got me out of one of my classes one day and brought me to his office to talk to me. In the running tests in Phys-Ed i had outrun the champion and he never knew why i wouldn't join any of the teams. He tried to convince me to join the track team etc.. but i wouldn't due to personal problems. I wish i could have told him why, because he...

I was a kid in Manassas and went to Osborn High in the sixties. I remember Coach Fortuna brought me to his office and tried to get me to play sports. I was a very fast runner but would never try sports. He almost persuaded me to. I have always thought of that day and what would have happened if i had listened to him. I'll always remember him as a great person who cared. RIP Sir.

Please accept my deepest sympathies. Mr. Fortuna was my Drivers Ed. instructor. I have very fond memories of him.

Sorry to hear of your loss. Mr. Fortuna taught my drivers ed class one summer. He was a great teacher.

Thank you Mr Fortuna for caring for and enriching the lives of so many children, now adults. God Bless

RIP, Mr. Fortuna! Still remember you from my first day of ninth grade at SJSHS, in 1981. :-) Thanks for trying to keep my uncles and my Dad in line at OHS. No doubt that was a full-time job in itself! Warmest regards, Beth Jewell

Joe and family, I'm so sorry to hear of your dad's passing. He was a great man and I have many fond memories of him growing up in Manassas and attending Osbourn.

I will miss you deeply, my dear friend. I will especially miss our Costco and ice cream trips! You will never be forgotten.

Love,
Jeanne, Chris, Caitlin & Olivia Pinney
