Not sure what to say?

I will always be grateful for Joe and Jean's kindness and help when my father, Bill (Willie) Papes passed away. Joe was right there for my mom to help her make all the arrangements and even came to her house to take our family to the services. Although his health was failing last year, he insisted on coming to mom's birthday party. He will always be a legend of our times and a man that everyone has always admired.

To the Fortuna Family.
My prayers are with Joe for eternal rest and peace. May he contiue to work for peace on earth while at His side as Joe did in all of his worldly actions.

Dear Fortuna Family,
We are so sorry to hear you lost Joe. He was such a good man. I remember all the help he gave our family in our time of need. We will always remember him and keep him in our prayers along with the rest of your family. May you all find some peace in the lost of your loved one.

Dear Fortuna Family, I have always told people, "Joe Fortuna is one of the nicest people I have known in the funeral business". He is the reason I went into funeral service. When I was in high school, his encouragement is what helped me go on to school. Everyone who ever came in contact with him is a better person because of him. Thank you all. Joe Skerl

Dear Fortuna Family,
Just think of your Joe as resting from the sorrows and the tears, in a place of warmth and comfort where there are no days or years.

With love from the Halusker Family

I have just returned from a trip to find an email from Mr. Fortuna's niece (Karen Dunne) informing me of his death. As an "adopted in spirit" member of Aloise's family since 1960, I recall many stories of her parents and siblings and also remember vividly how she loved to travel back to Cleveland from Toledo to visit with them - the times were too few. I know that you are all experiencing heartache during these sad days, however, I pray that your heartache will soon be replaced with the...

Our deepest sympathy and prayers are with your family during this difficult time. With love from...

To the Fortuna family,

As I used to see you on a weekly (or more) basis during the 70's as your newspaper carrier, I remember Mr. Fortuna as a solid man whom I respected then and now.

My deepest sympathies are with all of you.
