Hard to believe a year has passed already. Not sure a day goes by without you entering my mind.... I feel comforted knowing we remain connected via your saintly wisdom, Uncle! The meal at the Brazilian restaurant: you fed Larissa, me, and Emily and presence made it all perfect. Thanks too, for being right there by my side, while I signed off on my father's final status with his doctor! Love you and you're always in my heart! Your nephew Gregory

I am sorry to hear that Uncle Joe has passed. My mom loved him dearly and was so grateful for the care he showed her. My sister and I share that gratitude. Susan treasured the letters he would send, and I envied his beautiful calligraphy. I know my mom would be one of the first to greet her uncle when he entered the Kingdom of God.

You were surely a gift from Heaven Uncle, taught me how to love others by loving me! Forever in my thoughts and prayers. You and your sister Franny made me a PhD. and now I pay it forward, the way you taught me.
