Dear Laurel,
I am so sorry to hear about Joe's passing away. Naturally a flood of memories come back at a time like this. Joe was first a colleague and subsequently my boss at Amdahl. Joe was always and foremost a great leader. He also became a good friend and we shared Armagnac and good cigars together. Dinner at your place with you and Joe was always something special. I also had fun tennis games with Joe. What a loss and what a super great guy Joe was.
