Renee, Robert and Richard, you all have my heartfelt condolences. Time takes care of all things, however, from here on its a matter of adjustments as nothing will ever be the same.

Renee,
I remember you bringing your Dad to see my Dad, John Pryles when he was in the hospital. My Dad had such fond memories of working for your Dad at the liquor store! I know you will miss your Dad, God bless your all!

Uncle Joe surely will be missed. I loved seeing him at OrVeShalom, He just reminded me of my grandfather. Now he is up there with his wife, brothers and sister, even his mom Nona Reina. So, he got a lot to tell them about all of us down on this earth. :)
He had a long life. May he rest in peace.
love,

Uncle Joe became the "Patriarch" of our Franco Family after Uncle Jack passed away here in Atlanta, about 2000. We loved hearing ALL his tales of the "old country" as well as his early days here in Atlanta, and appreciated his sense of humor. He was our last link to our Sephardic heritage on the Island of Rhodes. Words alone cannot express how deeply we feel the loss of this unique man. Leah & David Franco & Family
