Joseph Fraser Webb

Webb, Joseph Fraser, passed away on July 28, 2017; the beloved son of the late Jack and Alice Fraser Webb, Sr.; loving father of Bridget and Gavin; brother of Greg (Katherine) McCandless, Jack (Mary) Webb, Jr., Wendy (Dennis) Bullard, Jim (Julie) Webb, Jeff Webb; uncle of Jack (Melissa) Webb III, Rebecca Webb (Scott Kolkmeyer), Regina (Travis) Mossotti, April (Matt) Beaupain, Kelsey Bullard, Jimmy Webb, Alex Webb; dear great-uncle, nephew, cousin, friend.
Joe attended Annunziata Parish School, DeSmet High School, University of Missouri-Rolla, earning a degree in mechanical engineering. Joe was an engineer on many notable projects for McCarthy Brothers Construction, including the first high-rise ATT/Bell building in downtown St. Louis, many hospital complexes throughout the Midwest and Northeast, and worked on the historical restoration of the NYC Post Office. His family and friends, throughout his life, admired Joe’s sense of humor and kindness. As a young man, with his father, he learned the art of falconry, hunting, fishing, and was an avid water skier. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
Services: On Saturday, September 2, visitation will be at 9:30 a.m., followed by Memorial Mass at 10:00 a.m., at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, 106 N. Meramec Ave., Clayton, MO 63105. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Humane Society, 1201 Macklind Ave, St. Louis, MO 63110, or Endangered Wolf Center, 6750 Tyson Valley Road, Eureka, MO 63025, would be appreciated.
