I just heard of Joe's passing and was saddened. I'll always remember Joe as a great neighbor and friend.

Dear Aunt Claire, Joel and MaryEllen,
I was so sorry to hear about Uncle Joe's passing. I have wonderful memories of his partnership with my dad and my interactions with him as I was growing up. My mom and dad are living very near me in South Carolina now (as of Nov. 2007) and my dad was extremely distraught and at times inconsolable about Uncle Joe's passing.

I cant believe that Joe is gone. Always a happy face to see around the firehouse. This is one life that deserved to live on forever. He has touched everones lifes that he has come in contact with. He is an amazing man who will be missed for ever by so many people. Joe, please say hi to the other members of E4 up there.
