Not sure what to say?

Joe´s photo just popped up on my memories on Facebook so I went to his page. I´m shocked to learn that he has passed away from cancer. Joe was truly one of The. Good. Guys. He was professional, he was funny, and he was driven. He talked about his family all the time. Such a tragic loss. RIP. Carol O´Leary

There wasn´t a better friend than Joe! We worked together at Kiss108 and we had great times! We also lived together in Arlington across the hall from his soon to be lovely wife Lisa! Joe, your great humor, fun loving attitude, loyalty to your family as a great husband and father will be remembered for a long long time! I´ll never forget you Joe! You were a big part of my life in the 1980´s!! Thank you!!

Joe and I had so much fun walking on the beach checking all the girls out going to Paragon Park for bargain day riding all the rides for free we just had a lot of laughs when we were kids I will always miss him sad to hear the bad news my condolences go out to his family and friends

Yesterday, the world lost a great human -- my brother Joe Furrier who battled cancer to the end. Joe was a rolling ball of energy and intelligence...everyone can attest that he was so much fun to be with. Joe was not only a great brother and friend but the consummate family man. He loved his wife Lisa and kids James, Dan, Nicole, and Ali. Joe never relented in his support for his family and friends. Very sad and still processing. Godspeed JoJo!

A few of us fellow 1974 St Anthony's of Northvale NJ graduates (Bob Ginocchio, George DeGennaro) had recently reconnected and were planning a trip once things opened up to see Joe. He was the crown jewel of that class and though we had not been in touch for many decades, once we did start communicating, it was like the old days. I see he died 5 years to the day from his Dad (the same man who told me as a kid that rooting for the Yankees was a grievous mistake) The choice of Mary's Meals...

Lots of great and fun times together that will long be remembered. We'll miss you!
