Not sure what to say?

In memory of Joe Gage. Forever remembered for his service and sacrifice.

Just remembering Joe from Hawaii as we were in the same platoon back in the day. Hope you are doing as well as can be, and remembering the good times. I am praying for you all.

Going to miss you SGT Gage. I just found out. God Bless to your wife and kids.

Samantha not sure if you remember me SFC Chris Carl from Hawaii. I was Gages Platoon Sergeant in Bco 1-14th Infantry and he was my RTO. I was shocked to hear what had happened to Joseph. I just want to say my deepest sympathy goes out to you and your son.

I remember when we were waiting to go into the Staff Sergeant Promotion Board...waiting outside walking form one end of the room to the other.... We we really worried and all that. It was only the two of us and the only two Sergeants going to Staff Sergeant promotion.... We only talked the night before and the day the Board was held. Even though it was so little time spent. We talked about our families and our lives backhome... it was one of those rare moments that everything stops......

I remember the times and friendship we shared at Ft. Campbell.

It had been a few years since we had spoken and unfortunately I was day to late when I found you again.

I won't forget you Joe.
