Not sure what to say?

Cindy, I am so sorry about your loss. Lost my husband 5 years ago and my heart is with you in your grief. Peace and Love, my friend.

I know Joe as a neighbor and from my extended time shared with him on the Egret´s Walk board. He did an amazing job on the board. A bit hard-nosed but just what we needed;). Joe was a friendly, warm person who enjoyed a good laugh. I was gifted with being on his email list that kept me smiling, reminiscing and sometimes laughing out loud. I was shocked to hear of his passing today and send our sincerest regrets to Joe´s family.

Joe was such a great guy who always had the biggest smile on his face and the greatest laugh. He would always pop his head into my office and say, "Don´t you ever go home?!" I remember him telling me many times how much he was enjoying his retirement. My deepest sympathies to Cindy and the family.

As is the case with many of my friends, I met Joe through golf at Dunes West. He was always a joy to be around. Witty and quick to laugh with that robust laugh of his. He made everything he was involved with more fun. We worked together to plan several Member/Guest tournaments over the years and did much of the planning in his man cave over a few beers. He was a great guy and a good friend who will be missed. David Connell

Joe was my first golf buddy in Charleston. I met Cindy at the mailbox and she walked me back to their home and introduced us because she wanted him to have a golf buddy. He was a great one. We made great memories in the neighborhood and on the golf course. Joe always put a smile on the faces of the people he was with. He will be missed! John Carey

Joe--You left us too soon, but with lots of happy memories! We will miss the hot peppers from your garden!! Our sincere sympathy to Cindy and family.

My condolences to your family during this time. Thinking of you! ~m
