Not sure what to say?

So truly sorry to learn of Joe’s passing. Knew him first as a student in High school when he was a teacher and then the Assistant Principal. Got to know him better when I became an administrator myself. He was a class act and a good guy. He was loved as the Principal of Fairmount School and highly respected by all who knew him. One of my role models. Rest In Peace Joe.

My Sincere Condolences to my classmate Pam of HHS class of 1980.and the Gallo Family.RIP Mr. Gallo! The Lord will c u Through!! Alfred Davis.

A nice man, a gifted man. Rest in peace, Joe.

Mr. Gallo was my chemistry teacher at Hackensack High School. I remember him as knowledgeable, kind and very fair. I learned a lot, and chemistry became a favorite class. Thank you for your dedication to students, and may you Rest In Peace.

My deepest sympathies to Joe's entire family and many friends. He was my Physics teacher in Hackensack High School and helped me through a difficult period in my high school years. Although I never saw him after high school and moved in to successful careers, I never forgot his kindness and help.
May Joe rest comfortably in our God's eternal peace. Godspeed Joe Gallo!

Such a Wonderful man.
My Condolences to your family..RIP..

I am so very sorry to read about your Dad. It was a unique experience to get to know him (and your Mom and each of you) not only as an educator but as a neighbor to my Aunt Lu and her family. Our HHS Class of 1978 was honored to dedicate our yearbook to your Dad. May your sweet memories comfort you.

Rest in Peace Mr Gallo

I am truly so sorry to hear about your dad! I have such fond memories! He was one of my favorite Principal’s I had the honor of working for! I still remember our morning coffee chats in the teacher’s room before the students would come in at Fairmount school. Sending you huge hugs. I hope your memories help you during these difficult and sad times.
