Not sure what to say?

To all of Red's friend I wish to thank you for the kind thoughts And donaton to the Senter center. The beautiful Memorial to Red Completed a life that will always be in our hearts.

With love from
the Gambetta Family

Fern, Pam, Lori & rest of the family,

The river was a better place with Red.
Fern & Red watched most of us "Jervan kids" grow up. Gave a few of them jobs at the store.

As a small town, we kids learned early how to help friends and neighbors when needs came up. We would always see or hear about Red and Fern helping others. Thank you for the "life lessons" and your kindness.
Linda Galloway

Red, you will always be in my memory. We have had a lot of years together with family and have enjoyed it so much especially when we went to Alaska last year. Thanks so much for that memory. I also think about Mama and you with the longing to have it like it has been for so many years. Things will not be the same without you in Monte Rio but we do not want you to go though the pain and discomfort you had. Now you can enjoy being with the Lord with no tears. no pain, only peace. We would...

I remember "Red' when he and his Dad delivered milk to our home every Wednesday. Later in life, Red, helped Dick Hetzel and Hill Grunberg form the "Russian River Rats" a group dedicated to racing modified Ford Roadsters. Red was always a leader with high energy.

I will miss coming to California every Sept. to cut wood and fix little things you always had waiting for me. We won't get to run the bread route anymore and I always looked forward to it. You were just like a Father to me and I really miss you.

Daddy,
Today we will come together and celebrate your life. It’s hard to imagine that you will not be there “running the show”, but I know that you are with us in spirit. Daddy, I love you for teaching me about hard work, commitment, and love for family and friends. You always told me how proud you were of me and my family and I’ll always remember those words. Each Christmas Eve when we gathered at your house and sat down for dinner you always gave thanks for another year together and told...

Grandpa,
Christmas Eve will never be the same. You always provided a place, that no matter how crazy our lives got, or how busy the year went, we all knew that on Christmas Eve we would all be around the dinner table able to laugh and appreciate our silly family! You instilled in us day after day, year after year, what the meaning and value of "family" is, and I will never forget that, and Kira will learn just the same way you taught me. Thank you for never judging me, always supporting...

I've only known Red for about 3 years, but his work at the Guerneville senior center said so much about him. He will be missed. He was very nice to me. Jim Fox {Guerneville}

Daddy,
I will miss you everyday and I thank you for all the love and support you gave to me and my family. You taught us to give unselfishly of ourselves, donate our time where needed and be proud of growing up at "The River". I cherish every moment that I spent with you, especially in the kitchen. I love you, Pam
