My favorite memory about Joe was during our wedding rehearsal. Joe was one of Don's groomsmen way back in 1972.
At the conclusion of our practice the priest gathered us together to say a few words. Those words morphed into a confession about Joe! The priest had to admit that Joe strongly resembled his vision of what Jesus Christ looked like! I guess with Joe having long dark hair, full beard and those intense blue eyes really affected the priests evening. Actually shook the priest up...
