Hanging around the Gerold house holds some of my fondest childhood memories. Mr. Gerold was always there to share a joke, History lesson, Phillies story, or a Pepsi. I can still remember all of the model airplanes and lessons playing War At Sea. Let's not forget Wiffleball and those famous games of Hose Ball. Dear Barb and Family, we are so saddened to hear of your great loss. Joe will be missed by all of us. He was one of a kind. He was a simple man who made a big difference in all of our lives.

I worked with Joe in the Pilot Lab at Inolex Chemical from 1977 to 1980. He was a great guy.

Back then, there were no computer games. Joe introduced us to the war-based board games he liked to play. We spent many lunchtimes playing "War at Sea" and "Victory in the Pacific." He even got the plant manager involved!

I learned a great deal from Joe that served me well the rest of my career.

I am saddened to hear of his passing. We worked closely together for...
