Joseph A. Giacomini

My thoughts and prayers are with you. Joe was a class act as well as a truly kind person. He was one of the few people I knew in the Postal Service who had a love of books and reading. May God give you comfort in knowing he was loved by many of us.

For more than 25 years I had the opportunity to work with and learn from Joe. He was always willing to step up and help others in all of the projects going on. He was a mentor, sharing his vast weath of knowledge to help the rest of us learn and grow as we progressed through our Postal careers.

Even though nothing can fully erase
the pain and sadness of parting, what a comfort it is to know that so many others share your sadness.

Although I have never met you, I want you to know that I considered Joe one of the finest people I have ever met and had the privilege to work with. He had the ability to bring a diverse group of people together in difficult assignments and help them perform at their best, and he did it selflessly and with "Class"! A sterling model for myself and others!
