Not sure what to say?

Dear Carol and Terry and all the Gilmore extended families,
Kay and I are with you in our hearts as you lay to rest your Dad. May you find peace knowing he is in heaven with golden wings free of all his pain and watching over you all.

Joe Gilmore is my image of steadfast, faithful, and loyal, a good man who devoted himself to his wife, children, and grandchildren. We can't be with you for his funeral because I'm flying to Taiwan and Billy's working to pay for my flight, but we keep you all in our prayers as we prayed for you and Joe in the difficult days of his illness. Carla, Jennifer, Jerri, all of you, showed the same faithfulness and family love to him that he had always demonstrated to you. You're a beautiful family...

One of the two best grandpa's a girl could have! I will cherish all the memories, but the times I hold most dear in my heart are the ones shared with with Papa Joe and my own children- they are better just for having him in their lives.

We didn't see Joe very much in the last few years but we remember how much he loved his family. He really enjoyed the times he spent doing things with them and for them. God bless you as you celebrate his life and the wonderful memories you made through the years. You remain in our prayers.
In Christian love, Ray, Nell, Bill
