Not sure what to say?

Finally had a chance to watch your family video
wonderful!!!! it was so well done
Joe would be so proud
GOD BLESS EACH AND EVERY ONE OF YOU

Rose & family, so sorry for you loss! May Joe entertain all the angels with his beautiful voice singing Violets in the snow!! God Bless & hang on to all the memories of him!! There were some very much love & happy ones!! His talents in what ever he did were awesome!! He will be missed by many! Love to your whole family!

As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends. Joe was a great man! I truly loved to listen to his stories!

I just want to thank him for his years of service to our country. His loyalty did not go unnoticed.

Joe was ALWAYS a happy face to greet, full of encouragement and many good laughs. He supported our lousy softball team with enthusiasm. I loved my vista with him when I traveled back to Brillion. He was a great husband, father and grandfather. He is singing with the angels, no audition necessary. We had fun naming various women in the flower department, his wife Rose, I was Kriss-anthemum, we had a few pansies and petunias and violets...all good fun and precious memories.

A dear and loving and talented Brother. And he beat me to Heaven! I expect he is already in the Heavenly Choir.

Great memories of bowling with Joe for Vogels at Romy's
we all weren't the best but we really had a fun time
if we ever needed a man just give Joe a call and he would be there
no questions
RIP good friend

It would be 50 years ago that Joe ("Mr. Gilsdorf" to me) and I (I was likely "hey kid" to him) sang together in the 'Brillionaires' Barbershop Chorus; his joy and energy, not to mention his warm welcome, made a real impression on those of us high school boys who were invited into that circle. I can close my eyes and still hear his quartet delighting the audience with their simultaneous mish-mash of four popular songs--I think he sang "How much is that doggie in the window" . Joe's welcoming...

remembering all the fun times with Joe and Rose. Memories are special! There was never a dull moment when Joe was there. Camping, Cruise and so many good times.. Rest in peace Joe!
