We met Chickie and Birdie 6 years ago on Halloween. It was love at first sight and we loved them deeply and are missing Chickie especially now. The visits we spent with him, and the times we shared will forever be in our heart and never replaced as he was the most special of anyone in our lives. They opened their home for members of UCSD Chancellors Associates when I was chairing that organization.
