We were just talking about him and some things he shared with various members of our family. He was a blessing to us.

I was talking to my neighbor, who had just returned from a trip to the Colorado mountains. I can't think of that piece of geography without remembering camp Shwayder and the time I spent there about 60 years ago with Rabbi Joe Goldman. My Uncle, Rabbi Joseph Goldman was a great friend, mentor, advisor, champion of me and my family, and just about one of the most amazing people I've ever known. This is a guy who had so many dimensions to his life, including marching with MLK in Selma, traveling the world (more than once), impacting literally thousands of lives and showing us all how to live fully and with love.
