Not sure what to say?

When I was a child growing up (60’s and 70’s)…one would have thought that Joey (as we called him) had 2 daughters and a neighborhood of sons. He was like a Dad and an older “best friend” to us all. He gave us a safe place to hang out and was always there for us in every way.

Joey was generous, talented & funny and had a lot of knowledge to share. He would teach us things, take us places and expose us to things outside of that little neighborhood. We’ll never forget him and the...

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.

Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome...

Evelyn & Tom, my heartfelt sympathies to you and your family. Your father was someone for whom I always had a tender place in my heart. Always had a kind word and always doing a kind deed. His stamina and energy never ceased to amaze me! Teri S - your ol' Moody St tenant!'

I am so sorry to hear about your Dad. He and your Mom were always so wonderful to everyone.
Though I didn't see as much of them after the cleaners closed, I thought of them often and will continue to remember how special they both were.

Evelyn & Tom and family, We are so saddened to learn about Evelyn's Dad. Oh, our hearts are broken for you. We know how very much you cherished him and cared for him and cooked up meal after meal for him, but loved doing it,since you loved him dearly. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. Love, Jack and Madaline

I am so sorry for your loss. Your Dad always reminded me of a Pied Piper. His personality just bubbled over especially when children were around. He always made you feel like you were part of his family. I'm sure he will be missed by all.

Dear Evelyn & Beverly -

Someone once wrote "God gave us memory that we might have roses in December." Those of us who knew Joe have our own special bouquets. When I think of Joe, I will always remember him with a station wagon filled with kids, the sound of laughter and a kind and generous heart.

It is no wonder he had such a long and remarkable life. He had so much to share with others. He will live in our hearts forever.

With love and sympathy,

I saw Joe daily. He was a great person. He will be missed. He was always smiling and loved to give dolls and teddy bears to the children. I was sorry to hear of his passing. My family and I was keep you in our thoughts and prayers.

Joe always had a smile on his face and indeed was a true hero in my book. He was a wonderful neighbor and never failed to ask about the kids and how they were doing.

Joe and Phyllis never forgot my children's birthdays as they were growing up.

Joe was a wonderful role model as a neighbor and as a human being. He had a heart of gold and always wanted to help others. He will not be forgotten.
