TO THE FAMILY OF JOE EDDIE. I WAS SO SORRY TO HEAR OF JOE'S PASSING. WHEN I FINALLY GOT THE WORD, THE FUNERAL WAS OVER. JOE WAS ONE OF THE NICEST PEOPLE I HAVE EVER MET. HE WAS NEVER TOO BUSY TO STOP AND SAY HELLO AND TALK FOR A FEW MINUTES. I DIDN'T GET TO SEE THE BAND VERY OFTEN BUT WHEN I DID, I ALWAYS LOOKED FOR JOE EDDIE. HE MIGHT BE IN THE MIDDLE OF A SONG BUT HE ALWAYS NODDED HIS HEAD OR RAISED A HAND IN GREETING. HE MAY NOT HAVE KNOWN MY NAME BUT HE ALWAYS KNEW MY FACE. THINGS...

Joe Eddie was loved and will missed by many. A giant of a man with an incredible talent who always greeted folks with a smile. His legacy in music will live forever. What a talent!I had the pleasure of getting to know Joe Eddie through the years whle he was a member of the Farewell Party Band.

To Joe Carroll ~ It was good to hear from you. Sorry to leave a message here but I didn't get your email address to contact you personally.

In loving memory of a wonderful person. We will love you and miss you always.

God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome...

Joe Eddie

A great giant of a man with a caring, caring heart
He made a big impression on me right from the very start
The very first time we met Joe Eddie, it was right there & then we knew
He was one in a million, one of a very, very few
Of life’s true, true gentlemen & it was a privilege for us to know

We are so, so sorry to hear about the very sad loss of Joe Eddie "One of life's true Gentlemen" it was such a pleasure to have gotten to know this “Great Gent” we got to spend some time with Joe Eddie when he visited our shores when he was here with Gene & the band & he made a very big impression on us, he will be very sadly missed, not only by his family, friends, Gene & the guys in the band but by his fans whom he always took the time to get to know, he made us feel so special, he was one...

OUR CONDOLENCES TO JOE'S FAMILY HE WAS A GOOD FRIEND..D.H. WORKED WITH HIM AS A PART OF THE GENE WATSON FAMILY FOR 11 YEARS AND REMAINED FRIENDS. WE'RE SO SORRY FOR YOUR LOSS.
