The Grana Family,
I am so sorry for your loss and I pray that God has bought you comfort and peace. I was a aviation student of Mr. Grana in high school and will always fondly recall the many stories he shared with us in class, his zest for life, and his desire to teach us the aviation trade and give us direction. He was a real gentleman and will truly be missed by all whose lives he touched.

The Grana Family;
I knew Joe at Fordham he helped me through several classes. Without him I never would have passed. I remember his trip up to Hudson one snowy thanksgiving. Joe was a great, kind and thoughtful friend.
Miss you always,

Dear Grana family,
I am so sorry to hear of the tragic death of Joe and Joe Sr. I didn't know Joe very well but he did go to HTH Middle School with me for a very short time. He belonged to my church, OLL in Malverne, as well.
My deepest sympathy to you all and may God Bless you always.

Dear Grana Family,
Joe and I had only seen each other a few times since our graduation in 1986, but I still consider him a dear friend and a major influence in my life during very important years. He was a scholar and an athlete, and I had the privledge to have been bettered by his friendship. When you spend 4 years, 3 seasons per year, sweating and pushing your body to its' limits, you get to know the character of your team mates. Joe's was rock solid and unwavering.
