Not sure what to say?

Dear Grasso family, Carmen, Lisa, Suzanne, Angelique, I met your father in 1979, at your Aunt Katie's house. As a young person I spent lots of time at Katie's. She was like a second mother to me and treated me like family. I was at one of the many family functions when I met your father. I knew the moment I saw Joe sitting in the corner of the room, he would be in my heart forever. Although distance may have separated us, I thought of him and the family often. I'm currently deployed with...

Dear Carmen and Sandy,
I am so sorry to hear that you have suffered another loss within a short period of time. I have such fond memories of your brother, especially how he loved to talk and talk and talk! Somewhere in my 'keepsakes' is an old recording of him doing just that. Joe remained a friend long after our 'dating years' and I regret having lost touch with him and others in your family. I am truly saddened by his passing.

I'm sorry to see your father has passed Lisa, Suzzie, and Carmen. My memories of your father are great ones. Thanks Joe for taking me to the hospital when I broke my finger. For allowing me to babysit your kids. And swim in your pool daily.

My condolences to you and yours Lisa. Nothing can take away the great memories enshrined in your mind.

Lisa, I am so sorry to hear of the passing of your father. You and your family are in my prayers. Love, Sue Matullo

I know how difficult this time is for you and your family. I lost my Dad in 1981, but much like your father, my Dad was suffering and I'm so thankful he is no longer in pain. Just want you and your family to know that I am sending my love to all of you and I remain here, if I can ever do anything for you. You all will remain in my prayers for the days, weeks, and years ahead. God Bless, Dr. Mark E. Young, Sr.

Joe Grasso was a wonderful man..He was like a 2nd father to me growing up..I think I spent more time at the Grasso household then I did my own..He always watched after me since the 1st grade when I met Lisa..It is tough to lose a loved one, my 44 year old sister died of cancer in 07 so I know what it is like......just have to remember there is no more pain. The Grasso family will always hold a special place in my heart!!!!

Carmen was telling me something that Uncle Joe always said the other day.

"Put your hand in a bowl of water, and see how big of a hole you leave behind."

Well, Uncle Joe, you definately left a big hole. You are loved and missed by many. I love you Uncle Joe.

They say life is a journey not a destination. from what I know about your dad his journey thru this life was done his way. Not swayed or influenced by others but he was the man who influenced others,
I am telling you from my own personal experience the pain of the lose of your father will never go away, but it does get better .just remember he is in a better place. maybe, just maybe him and Ralph are hanging out. my mom said they are a lot alike...birds of a feather...lol
Now,it is...
