I had the good fortune to land on Joe's bowling team over a decade ago. It didn't take us long to go from being team mates to friends, then fishin' partners, then to best buddies. No matter what we were doing, we always enjoyed our time together -- even if it was 20 below and blizzarding while we were attempting to fish the river. You'd never catch either one of us not smiling just hangin' out together. He was a truly a special guy and will be missed immensely.
