Joseph B. Grosch Sr., 93, passed away on Wednesday, Nov. 16, 2011, at home in Millington, N.J., surrounded by his loving family. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at St. Peter's Church, 155 William St., Belleville, N.J., at 9:30 a.m. Saturday. Interment will be private....

My sincerest sympathies to the Grosch family. My father,Chris, graduated with Joe and played on the BHS golf team in 1935-36 while always participating with him on many a committee in Belleville. He valued his friendship and always spoke very highly of Joe. He was one of the best Belleville had to offer...

My deepest sympathies to the family and friends of Mr. Grosch my 3 older brothers and I had him as our principle in School #1 I remember him as very kind and sweet, and wondered when I was little how he remembered all of us by name all I do know is it made me feel special that he did know us and we'll never forget him.
