Not sure what to say?

Joe was a childhood friend of mine in Pontiac. We played golf and basketball together and were at MSU at the same time. He was well liked and genuine!

Man you impacted my life to the point where I had a mission to find you. I’m 27 and now finding this out hurts. Looking at how much you are a good man makes me happy to have had a great MEXICAN role model. I got lucky to enjoy Chapelle. The greatest principal I’ve ever had!!!

My son was a student at Chapelle Elementary School when Mr. Guillean was principal. He liked the school, but he loved Mr. Guillean (Mr. G). Every day my son would shake hands with him and talk to him before going to his classroom. This year, once again, the Class of 1971 is going to attempt to have their 50th class reunion. Joe’s presence will be missed of course, but we know that he will be there in Spirit as he will live on in the hearts of all the classmates that remember him and miss him so very much. Such a nice man he turned out to be.

I recall seeing Joe on the MSU campus and playing competitive high school basketball and golf. He is a warm and friendly person that we all liked being around.

I'm sorry that I gave you a hard time I was too young to know that all you wanted to do was help I know I was troubled in my youth but I have so much love and respect for you I hope you and Mr Bauer are playing golf right now with the big man in the sky

So it´s been 8 yrs now. I looked back at the SO MANY comments how Joe´s life positively effected the lives of so many. From so many of his Pontiac Catholic Classmates. This year would be our 50th class reunion but it´s being postponed due to Covid. As at the other gatherings since 2013 Joe´s humor, kindness, intelligence, and those dimples will be sadly missed. But I know he´s watching us from Heaven where he´s having a great time, and watching the Tigers who are finally having a really good...
