Not sure what to say?

I miss you poppy. Now and forever

I pray that all of the Haines family are well. Joe and all of you played a very special role in my life and you were all exceptionally kind to me. I am certain that Joe is resting comfortably with the angels in Heaven. God's blessings John Herzog Springfield, OH

I have a special place in my heart for both Joe and Joy Haines. When I ran for office years ago, they took me under their wings and they helped me to get through those times. With their patience with me and their wonderful, spiritual advice, and with God's help, I managed to get through. I was also honored to meet their children (I even took a family picture of them on Easter of 1986) in their home in Xenia. I wish you all God's blessings. The world is a better place because of you all....

Joe was a great man and he was very kind and patient with me. His wife Joy was also a kind and patient person with me. They both touched many lives and I know that they have touched God's heart with their own lives. I will always cherish them as dear friends and I only wish that I could have been a better friend to them in return for their warmth and kindness. God bless...

I had the honor of serving with Joe for 14 years in the Ohio House. He was always polite and friendly, and he was a great resource on agricultural issues. I am saddened at his passing.

I was so sad to hear of Uncle Joe's passing. I have such wonderful memories of him in our visits to the old home place over the years. Sincerely, Marsha Haines Durlin
