Joseph passed away on Tuesday, October 27, 2015. Joseph was a resident of Kinston, North Carolina at the time of his passing. Joseph served his country with the United States Air Force for four years. He was married to Marjorie. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday October 28 2015 at Howard-Carter Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday October 29 2015 at Howard-Carter Funeral Home with Pastor Hank Jarman officiating. Burial will follow the service at Rainbow Church Cemetery.

im so sorry for the loss of mr.Joe.i have known him since 2006,when we started at Grace Baptist Church.i have grown to really love and care for mr. Joe and his with marge.he was always at church no matter how sick he was,shaking hands,giving hugs and advice.i will never forget him,our talks and his sweet smile and personality.our church will sure be different with him gone.RIP MR.Joe,we will see you again in heaven,one sweet day! love you.melissa stephens and family
