Relatives and friends are invited to gather at the BURGEE -HENSS -SEITZ funeral home on Monday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 PM, where a funeral service will be celebrated on Tuesday at 10 AM. Interment Parkwood Cemetery.

Dorothy and family,,,, I had a message from Pat today telling me that Joe had passed away. I am so sorry to hear this. What a wonderful life you had to be able to be together 68 years. That is wonderful. You know I have very fond memories of all the Harrigan family and Mattfeldt Ave. having known them for over 70 years. My sincere sympathy goes out to you, Susan, Patrick and Christopher and the rest of your family.

Of all the things I think I may have missed out on in my life...the one that is most prevalent is missing the opportunity to have met such a great man who has had such an impact on my family! (Which was actually his family way before it was mine) May u rest in peace Joe!!!!! U r truly a loved and missed man!!!!!!

Poppi, I am so happy you are at peace. You will be missed until the final breaths of your loved ones are taken. You were a wonderful man & that is exactly how you will be remembered! I will remember you always smiling! You always paced w either your hands behind your back or hands in your pockets jingling change & of course whistling!;) I was your buddy. We always went to Saturday mass together & occasionally stuck our tongues out at the kids that were crying! I loved hearing your stories about the race track, the army and growing up "in the old days". It is sad to know that my children will not get to know you , but I promise to keep your memory alive by telling them stories about us. You will always be my Poppi!! I promise to always be there for Grandmom & I know my husband, kids, & mom will be a huge part of her life. I am relieved that you are watching out for all of us. You are our guardian angel!!
