USS Grant on Seas Trials

I knew Joe in the early 1960's when we were stationed aboard the USS Grant (Gold) in Groton CT, then in Honolulu HA, where we flew back and forth to our operating base at Guam. Joe was a good friend and shipmate for the three years we were together in RC division, operating and maintaining the nuclear reactor and its control systems.

Cathy was a sweetheart as well, even allowing me to rent a bedroom from them when I was single in Groton. And I know I'll be seeing them sooner than later...
