Not sure what to say?

I think of Mr. Harvest everyday. ( He never really gave me permission to call him Joe)

I am late to this tribute. But in my older-age remembrance, I recently sought out two substantial influences in my young life, which is why I´m writing this epigram to Mr. Harvest. Joseph Harvest was my head coach as I quarterbacked our freshman team at John Adams. He, along with other athletes from the north side of North Edison, were legends among us who loved and played sports in that area. But he, like those others, became dearer to the broader meaning and depth of life, not just for me,...

The first image that arises at the hearing of Joe's name is one of a tall man, with a friendly smile and then quickly followed with the recollection of a man who was always ready to be helpful. I will always be thankful for his thoughtfulness and grace as I entered the doors of WWJH in the 70's as a first year teacher. I am saddened by the news of his passing, but know that he lives on in the memories of those who knew him. My deepest condolences to his family. Bohdanna

Dear Joe, I am so grateful that you were in my life. There are so many wonderful memories from our friendship via the ski club, tennis, golf, and fun at my house at the swim parties that I will cherish! Eternal Peace to you, brother. Inez

He was my math and science teacher in the seventh grade but he never stopped teaching me. He will always be with me.

Lizzy Mae, Katie, Joe, Marine!!

Jacky You were a wonderful wife to our uncle and for that we are grateful!

Joe was a colleague and a dear friend when we both were employed by Edison Twp. in the 1970s. So sorry to hear that he is gone but how lovely that he was surrounded by people who loved him and that he died at home. Sending my deepest sympathy at your loss.

Such a nice man. Only knew him through Jackie, but he will be greatly missed. Thoughts and prayers for Joe and all his loved ones
