Not sure what to say?

Dear Janet, Brad & Brian...
Although Rick and I knew Joe for a short time, he still left an impact on us. He was a good man, a man you could call friend and knew, indeed, he was your friend. Janet, when you and Joe, would come south to vacation in southwest Florida with Bill & Rhonda, it was always joyous to see all of you!!! We really had fun together!! All I could think was that Joe is singing karioke to the angels when we heard of his passing. I'll never forget one karioke night...

The father of an old friend of mine passed away this week after a short illness. He was 61.

Besides my mother and father, he was a role model as I grew up with his son in our storybook neighborhood.

For as long as I can remember, he had gray hair and loved to smoke his pipe on his blue La-Z-Boy in the den, watching the news and reading the paper. He was soft-spoken, almost always upbeat and, in the later years, always shook my hand and smiled when I saw him at church. His...

Dear Janet and Brian, We just found out about Joe's passing. Both Gabe and I remember Joe's support of all your school endeavors . Everyone will miss him. Gabe and Cindy( his Mom) Walker

Janet, I would like to offer our deepest condoleness in your loss. Joe was a co-worker, friend and asst coach for a all girl softball team in the 70's. I had a kid on the team, he didnot, but that was Joe. Ask and he was there. You will be in our thoughts and prayers.

Brian, Please know that you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers as you deal with the pain of your loss. Try to find comfort in the years you had, the memories your Dad helped create. For those of us who knew you as a teenager at Wolfson High School, we know that your Dad was instrumental in raising a wonderful family - you are definitely a product of your Dad's love and support.

Janet,Brad & Brian,
Earlier today I attended the beautiful memorial service at your church. I was near tears several times but actually cried when Brad & Brian spoke about their dad. It was truly a touching tribute to a great man. I shall always cherish the great times when our kids were growing up and all the baseball games coaching with and against Joe. He was a dear friend and someone I could always count on. I remember one baseball tournament at the high school. It rained all weekend...

Brian and Fanily--
You will be in my thoughts and prayers. Love, Chris

Joe's son Brian was one of our son Matt's best friends as they grew up. He was a wonderful Dad who coached and always had time for all Brian's friends and teamates. I know even those who did not know him closely will still miss him as the great role model he was for boys.
