Joseph Heilgeist

We visited my Uncle Joe, Aunt Mary Roma and cousins throughout my childhood, when we passed through Chicago or Atlanta. I remember a large man with a strong voice, and a serious sense of correct behavior. We often found that he did not let things go by. I was impressed with my cousin Jim's story of their father's example when they lived in Georgia, and the understanding of how deeply he loved his family. My condolences to all the family.

Hope Joe Sr. had a good life and his transition into eternity was without much pain. Always sad to lose a loved one, but if some of us make it to 97 with relatively good health I would say we suceeded.
