Sheila, I am so sorry for your loss. I miss talking to Joe at Bi-Lo about all the latest town events. His service to Chapin was above and beyond. Sally Hewitt

There are no words which adequately describe Joe. We had many conversations which ranged from travel and history to politics, life, family and love then all the way back to sports, especially our Clemson Tigers! I will miss you Joe. I will cherish your memory forever! Thank you family for allowing me the privilege of caring for him for the past 30 years!

I have such good memories of working with Joe on community issues in Chapin and the United Way. I have missed seeing him the past several years. My deepest sympathy goes to the family as we all experience the loss of his presence with us, always trying to make things better.
