Dr. Joseph Michael Herrmann

Joe and I were the two who loved mathematics the most in our class. I chose to get my undergrad and graduate studies in electrical engineering to work on the space program. I am delighted Joe earned his doctorate in mathematics. Joe also enjoyed chess as do I and my son, Ian, who is getting dual degrees in physics and mathematics. To the friends and family of Dr. Herrmann: I knew Joe at St. Bede's and just found out that he had passed away. My children attended Texas A & M and I would have loved to have visited with him there or anywhere. We shared a love of mathematics. God bless him and those who loved him.
