To the entire Hessling family:
My heartfelt sympathy to you all during this most difficult time. I always enjoyed chatting with Joe when he called for a home delivery of kerosene. Also, my compliments to the group that so well organized Joe's Oct. 5, 2008 benefit. May God comfort all of you now that he's at peace.

To the Hessling Family,
I am saddened to hear of Joe's passing. Our friendship came as a result of our newspaper careers. I could count on him for advice, and his warm smile and laugh were always comforting when we would meet in person. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Take comfort in knowing that now you have a special guardian angel to watch over you.

To Cherryl, Joe, John and Fran you have my deepest sympathy.

If they have trains in Haven I know you will have them all running on time in short order.

Joe I am so glad I got back home to ride the rails with you.

I love you, rest in Peace old buddy.
