Joseph was born on December 2, 1956 and passed away on Friday, September 16, 2016. Joseph was a resident of Bridgeport, West Virginia at the time of his passing. Joe was a 1977 graduate of Shinnston High School . He attended West Virginia University. He was married to Beth. Friends will be received at Burnside Funeral Home 607 S. Virginia Avenue Bridgeport on Monday from 12 noon â 2 and 5 â 8 p.m. A celebration of Joeâs life will take place at St. Thomas à Becket Episcopal Church 75 Old Cheat Road Morgantown on Tuesday September 20 2016 at 12 Noon with Mother Julie Murdoch officiating. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made in Joeâs memory to the Joe Hestick Memorial Art Scholarship Fund Lincoln High School 100 Jerry Toth Drive Shinnston WV 26431; or the Humane Society of Harrison County P.O. Box 4397 Clarksburg WV 26302.
Beth, I have tried twice to use the Facebook memorial to joe but it doesn't seem to work for me. Please know that I am holding you in the light. I have suffered two sudden deaths in my life (my father and my sister) and it is very hard. I found comfort in Churchill's words, "If you are going through hell, keep on going". Love, Katy
