Joseph F. Hollerbach, 78, Beloved husband of Marian (nee Wersching) for 59 years. Loving father of Frances (Art) Staniec, Patricia, Jeanette (John) Knill, Anita (Rich) Block and Joseph (Michelle). Cherished grandfather of Art (Nikki) Staniec, Janine
Knill, Jason Knill, Jordan (Cassie) Knill, Daniel Staniec, Matthew Block, Lisa Block
and Samantha. Devoted great-grandfather of Alexis and Cody Staniec. Dear brother of Joan Schulthesz. Loved brother-in-law of Betty Weiss and Joan (John) Depong. Fond uncle of many nieces and nephews. Leaving many cherished and lifelong friends. In 1955, Joe became a licensed funeral director and was the second generation to enter the family business started by his father in 1926. He remained
licensed for 58 years. In 1977, Joe and Marian became the sole proprietors of Hollerbach Funeral Home and brought sons-in-law and a son into the business. In 1981, Joe and Marian bought their dream home in Arkansas overlooking Bull
Shoals Lake. Since their retirement in 1999, they enjoyed boating, fishing and most of all visits by family and friends. Visitation on Tuesday 2-9 p.m. at
Hollerbach Funeral Home, 4022-36 N. Elston Ave at Irving Park Rd. Funeral Wednesday 9:15 a.m. to Immaculate Heart of Mary Church for mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment St. Joseph Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials to American Diabetes Association, Polycystic Kidney Disease Foundation or American Parkinson's Disease Association Midwest Chapter.
