Joseph Holliday

Was blessed to be in his classroom. My favorite teacher ever. His sense of humor made learning fun. RIP

A wonderful guy and a terrific teacher. I always thought that Mr. Holliday in chemistry and Mr. Smith in physics ranked as two of the best teachers I ever had. Sorry to learn of his passing.

Doc Holliday was a favorite teacher to many of us whom he taught and/or simply encouraged. I was fortunate to reconnect with him before my senior year in college when I had to spend a couple of weeks assisting in a course outside my major. Then, too, we talked by phone before my class´s 50th reunion. He helped me contact other surviving staff members. I could see his smile come through the wires. Suzanne Gearinger Burley HB `63

Mr Holliday was my Chemistry teacher at Har-Brack and his wife was my 5th grade teacher at Prospect Elementary. Both were great and caring teachers.

Such a kind man and an excellent teacher. He was my chemistry teacher, and I had the honor of being his laboratory assistant for 2 semesters. In addition to teaching, Mr. Holliday gave so much more to his students with his positive fair minded attitude, plus, he was a heck of an announcer under the Friday night lights.
