Not sure what to say?

Dear Marge,
It was a blessed day when Joe and Heinz met on the railroad as volunteer conductors. It led to a beautiful friendship between the four of us. We love you and will forever keep Joe in our hearts and memories. For us you two have been and are remarkable, caring and wonderful people - real role models. We mostly enjoyed Joe's Honesdale "history lessons" and the great gifts from his garden. We were newcomers to Pennsylvania and you two were there for us. Thank you and may God...

Our thoughts are with you, Marge.
Joe demonstrated his caring for others and for our fragile planet with enthusiasm and humility--a precious gift to our world. Thank you, Joe, for being a model human being.
Very Sincerely,
Katharine Dodge and Pete Snyder

Marge, When I met Joe for the first time, I found him to be kind, compassionate, funny, smart and willing to help anyone in need. He was able to keep these treasured qualities throughout his whole life. He will be dearly missed by his family, friends and the community.

Dear Marge,
We are so sorry to read of your dear husband, Joe's passing.

I have such fond memories of seeing both of you, in church, when I was a little girl growing up in Honesdale. Your love for each other was beautiful. What a wonderful example you have both been for us younger marrieds.

Marge, may you be comforted by all of the wonderful memories of times that you shared together.

May Joe rest in peace.

In Sincere Sympathy,
